I am still running the 32 bit version of Windows XP, and with Windows only utilizing 2GB of my memory for applications, I have always had just barely enough memory for Cubase and all my virtual instruments and plugins.

In my first blog entry about virtual instruments in Cubase, I discussed the basics of setting up a virtual instrument track. In this entry I will do a quick overview of how I then record my virtual instruments onto an audio track.

I had mentioned in one of my earlier blog entries that a Cubase 6 upgrade would first require a Windows 7 upgrade. Well, I'm having some memory issues during some recording sessions that will cause me to upgrade to Windows 7 regardless of what version of Cubase I am on.
